Q: What are your class times?
A: Check the Schedule under the Classes tab on our webpage for all class times in the calendar
Q: How do I start my free two-week trial?
A: Email us to let us know you would like to, and we’ll get you booked into your first class. For the karate classes, a Monday night is a good night to start on.
Q: What are your fees and membership structure like?
A: We offer memberships for either karate, fitness, or iaido, or an unlimited membership which lets you attend all kinds of classes. Contact us to discuss which membership is right for you, but you can try any classes in your free trial period.
Q: What should I expect in my first class?
A: You will spend some of the time being explained the dojo etiquette and being shown your first basics one-on-one or in a small group with an instructor. You should wear comfortable clothes to work out in, bring water for before or after class but not on the floor during class. All jewellery/watches/other items should be removed or taped for safety.
Q: What ages do kids start your classes?
A: The youngest that kids normally start karate is 5-7, depending on the temperament and maturity of the child. If you are interested in a program for children aged 3-5, please drop us a line to let us know and we may restart our tiny tots program if there is enough interest.
